Peppermint is a familiar fragrance and flavor to all of us. Peppermint oil has so much more to offer you than just fresh breath and delicious flavor! This essential oil is one that I am never without. It has so many daily uses to support your body, you’re not going to want to go without it ever again!

Peppermint essential oil should be diluted if you are using it topically. You should also be careful when using it around children. Although it is perfectly safe for adults and children, Peppermint is a very hot oil and will cause distress if you touch your eyes, when using it. You should also use a small amount when using it around small children to make sure it doesn’t irritate their sensitive respiratory tracts. When used properly, whether ingesting, diffusing, or applying topically, Peppermint essential oil can support your body’s systems and help you feel cool and energized!

Are you having trouble staying alert in the afternoon, feel like taking a nap on your desk, Peppermint oil to the rescue. Use 2-3 drops in your diffuser or 1 drop in your hand rub hands together and cup and inhale. This does the trick, it will invigorate you and get you moving again.

8 drops Peppermint essential oil
8 drops Clary Sage essential oil
6 drops Geranium essential oil

Combine oils in a 2 oz. glass spray bottle. Top off with water or witch hazel. Spray on the upper body, neck, and chest at the start of a hot flash for an instant cool down.
