The Year 2020 was full of surprises, the biggest one of course was the pandemic.
Unlike surprises, it was not over in a minute.
For most of us it became more important to treasure the people in our lives.
Not to take anything for granted.
The importance of reaching out to friends and family more often.
Although most of our interactions were via Zoom and no doubt we are all having Zoom fatigue, we are all thankful for this technology.
Thanks to those on Zoom meetings who chose interesting backgrounds or kept things on a lighter note to help make life less stressful than it may have seemed.
I have learned a lot of things this year, the most important is having a community that I can reach out to that cares about who I am and what I do.
I have always worked from home, but this year not being able to come and go whenever and wherever I wanted seemed to make it seem more isolated.
It's now 2021, the challenge is far from over, but it is amazing to me how resilient we are as humans.
Keep caring for each other and about each other.
Take care and stay safe.
